New LARP blaster Over-Under
This luxurious double-barrel blaster, hand made in the Czech Republic, is based on original 16th century examples, typically used by the wealthiest notables.
The progressive trigger allows you to fire the barrels one after the other reliably, or you can doubletap your opponent with a single pull. The solid brass elements ensure that you will always look stylish doing so.
The mechanism uses a spring powered plunger to launch either ø12 mm foam darts or ø22 mm balls, interchangeable with foam munition used by major toy blaster manufacturers. This ammunition is very light and doesn’t reach very high velocities, which makes firing our blaster safe for practically any type of LARP event.
The whole mechanism is made out of steel and integrated into the barrels, including the trigger. The plunger is sealed with leather.
The effective range of this blaster is around 12 meters, but it is capable of shooting up to around 20 meters, depending on the wind. Shooting the mechanism produces a relatively loud explosion-like sound due to its internal components.
The lock on this weapon is purely decorative, and it is made out of steel and brass. The Wheellock is one of the earliest mechanical firing mechanisms, prized for its reliability, which is offset by its cost and complexity.
The stock is made out of beech wood and it can be stained black, dark brown, lighter brown and reddish brown. After staining, the stock is treated with oil. If you want a different color, you can also request an untreated stock and dye, paint or even carve it however you like.🟤🔴⚫️🟤
If used with the included ammunition, the energy of the projectile comes up to around 0.3J, which means it is completely legal to use in Germany.
We also made a new leather holster made to fit the Over-Under blaster. We manufacture them in the Czech Republic and they are hand sewn from strong and high quality cowhide leather. Since it is made to carry a large blaster, we offer an option to add a thigh strap, which stabilizes it greatly
