Point of Balance? (PoB)

What PoB can you expect from your FakeSteel LARP weapon?

That mostly depends on the type of core and the length of the blade.

As you can see in the comparison image featuring the Octagon hilt, even the same blade type and length with the heavier 16x8 core will have a significantly different PoB placement compared to a lighter core.

Likewise, a heavier 80cm long blade type will have a significantly shifted PoB even when it features the lighter 10mm core.

It is important to remember when ordering, that all of these factors significantly affect PoB. Particularly with one-handed swords, the extra 10cm of blade length combined with a heavier core will mean a significant shift in balace to make a much more tip heavy sword.

A heavier blade means a less nimble sword, more impact energy and it also makes pulling your blows more difficult.
